Learning as an Adult: Meet Ski Mom Christine Wells

In this episode Nicole and Sarah host ski mom Christine Wells, a ski and fitness writer and mother of two who shares her story of learning to ski as an adult.  Christine is a self proclaimed “recovering lawyer” and recreational skier living in Park City, Utah. After spending several years working as an attorney on the East Coast, she moved West in 2019 and hasn't looked back. 

Although Christine grew up in Vermont, she did not start skiing seriously until her early 30’s. Christine tells us about learning to ski in Jackson Hole and the benefits and challenges of learning to ski as an adult.  Christine shares how she conquered her fear of falling off the chairlift and about her first yard sale. 

We get Christine’s recommendations on what to buy, borrow or rent for your first trip to the slopes. 

Christine also shares her tips for getting time on the slopes with help from her husband and ski resort child care.
